About Us

About us:

South Metro Uniform & Supply is owned and ran by the same people who use the gear regularly. Former law enforcement, current law enforcement officers, recreational shooters, and tactical enthusiasts are involved in selecting the products for SMUS. The priority of SMUS is to supply our Law enforcement and Millitary personel with the right gear for their job.

We also have an FFL, and are able to do FFL transfers for a small fee.  We also sell ammo, gun parts, and stock LEO magazines.

Police equipment is limited to only a few retail locations in the Denver, so we offer another alternative to larger corporate operated police equipment shops in the area.  We have accounts with many manufacturers and also with large distributors, so we can supply you and your department with the best names in police equipment with the personal touch that you WILL NOT find at the big corporate police equipment suppliers.

A little more about us:  We are also a retailer of many guns and gun accessories.  We are also able to procure special orders, and do FFL transfers.  We have the ability to find almost any firearm that you are looking for, and get it here fast.  We can also help you purchase from Gunbroker, or from any other source that requires items be shipped to an Federally Licensed Firearm Licensee.  With the new laws in Colorado, we can also do the now required background check for a private sale for a small fee that is mandated by the state.  Please come in and check out our inventory today, we look forward to seeing you.

I think that an old partner of mine from the U works here. Jeff George….. Any way, My Police Department, Douglas Wy. is looking at getting weapons mounted lights for our Glock 22 and I was wondering if I could get a price for holsters that would support the Glock and a TLR-1 light. Don’t know how many officers we would be ordering for so a price for a single holster and light to start would be great. Thanks in advance
